FAQ’s

How much is the deposit payment?

Vespa Px150e deposit payment is $500.00usd and KTM deposit payment is $650.00usd refundable on return of the bikes.

Do you have a reduced deposit payment for experienced drivers?

Reduced deposit payment for the KTM's is $500.00usd and for the Vespa's $400.00usd. This is for drivers over 25 with full motorcycle licenses.

How do we make deposit payment?

To make a booking we require a minimum deposit payment of $100usd per bike. If you pay the full amount by credit card we can return this amount to the same card. If you pay the $100usd per bike and the balance in cash then we will return the deposit payment in cash to Vietcombank at which ever branch you like.

Is there a minimum rental period?

Yes, we have a minimum rental period of 4 days.

Do you supply helmets?

Yes, we do have helmets which are included free but we would recommend bringing a good quality helmet from overseas if you have one.

Where can we drop off the bikes?

The one way drop off service can be made from any train station. This covers most destinations from Saigon to Hanoi but is limited in the south.

What is your pick up fee for a 1 way drop off?

The standard pick up fee is $25.00usd. The pick up fee we take from the deposit payment when we have collected the scooter.

What driving licence is necessary?

In reality any picture ID driving licence is ok an IDP would be beneficial. It is very difficult to arrange for Vietnamese licence even if you have a foreign licence. The procedure is that the overseas licence must first be notorised by your embassy, then translated into Vietnamese and finally given to the licensing authority to be issued with a Vietnamese licence. This whole process takes a minimum of 10 days.If you have no overseas bike licence then you must apply and carry out the Vietnamese written test and road test.

What happens in the event of Repairs being needed?

We very rarely have any problems as all the bikes are well maintained. However of course as with any road trips accidents happen and small problems occur due to driving and road conditions. Daily maintenance is the responsibility of the driver why the bike is in your possession but in the event of any major problems we can arrange repair and/or arrange replacement parts to be sent within 24 hours.
